Massimiliano Scotti, born in 1972, after years of work in advertising and marketing, decides to follow his passion for food and his entrepreneurial spirit; in 2015, he opens his first gelato shop in Vigevano: Vero Latte. The shop concept linked to American bakeries is appreciated, but most of all customers love his gelato flavours, that represent the perfect match between authentic and genuine tastes and creative recipes, always outside the box.
Vero Latte is a huge success, but the turning point occurs in September 2017. Gelato Festival crowns Massimiliano “Best Gelato Master in Europe” with the recipe “Il mio primo vero latte”: a simple recipe made with rice, milk and honey that recalls his land of origin and the snack his grandmother Esterina used to prepare when he was a little child. After the Gelato Festival award, Massimiliano starts to collaborate as a tutor with “Detto Fatto”, the Italian RaiDue tv show where he proposes his recipes to the general public. The Air Italy airline chooses one of his recipes to be served on board. In the meantime, the number of Vero Latte shops grows and even Editrade, the main publishing house for artisanal gelato industry, sets up a collaboration with him.
Today Massimiliano is a gelato master and a recognized entrepreneur, representative of an art where taste experimentation is the central point.
